Lightwork is available now on the App Store, Google Play, and the web. The organization plan isn’t switched on yet. When the plan does switch on, it stays the only thing we charge for. Asking for help, offering it, and running repeating programs for your own groups stay free.

How much does Lightwork cost?
Asking for help, offering it, and coordinating help for people you know are free — forever, with no ads. That includes running help on a repeating schedule and belonging to as many groups as you like. The only paid part is the organization layer: a certified identity, oversight across every group under your organization, and the volunteer-hour records your funders ask for.
Does the person asking for help ever pay?
No. The person asking never pays, under any plan. Neither does the person offering to help. If you are a neighbor helping a neighbor, there is nothing to buy and nothing that runs out.
Is the free tier a trial, or does it run out?
It is not a trial. Asking, offering, and coordinating for people you know are free permanently — not free until a group hits a size, not free for a first month, and not free until a meal train reaches its fourteenth night.
What does the paid organization layer actually include?
One certified identity across every group you run, a verified badge on the help you sponsor, a directory listing that carries that verification, oversight across groups your staff never joined, volunteer hours recorded against the help you sponsor, and a grant-ready export of who served, when, and what they did.
How much is the organization plan?
We have not set a price, and the organization plan is not something you can buy yet — billing is switched off. Lightwork is available now on the App Store, Google Play, and the web. Asking for help, offering it, and coordinating help for people you know work today. If you run an organization and want to talk about what you would need, tell us about it and we will work it out with you rather than quote you a number we have not thought through.
Do you take a cut of money raised through Lightwork?
There is no cut, because no money moves through Lightwork at all. Help here arrives as a thing or an act — a meal, a ride, a hand with a chore — chosen and delivered by the person helping. We are not a payment platform and do not plan to become one.
Are there ads, and do you sell my data?
No ads, and we do not sell your attention or your data. The organization layer is the only thing we charge for, which is what keeps the rest of it free without an advertiser in the middle.
